Welcome
to the United Outreach (UO) of El Dorado County Website. We are a group
of volunteers and staff members dedicated to helping the homeless men,
women and children of our County. Our stated mission is: Serving to
Empower the Homeless People of El Dorado County. Providing a safe, comfortable shelter is our immediate goal. In addition, we are trying to help clients secure jobs, training, medical assistance and permanent housing; the ultimate goal is to help them become contributing members of society. UO is not permanently funded by any government entity, although various county and state agencies have provided supplemental support as budgets have permitted. United Outreach receives most of its funding from concerned citizens, contributing churches and generous corporations. In addition to our team of volunteers, and when we can, we employ a paid staff of trained professionals to accomplish our mission. To contact us, our address is: United Outreach P.O.
